Privacy Policy

The Brown Progeny Assistant (“the app”) is a private, internal tool for the partners of Brown Progeny Limited Partnership, a limited partnership registered in and operating in California. There is no public sign-up: accounts are created only for partners, and the app is not offered as a service to anyone else.

The app belongs to Brown Progeny Limited Partnership, which decides what information it holds and why. It is built and maintained on the partnership's behalf by d20web LLC, a limited liability company registered in Texas, which also holds the Google Cloud project the app's Google integration runs under. d20web LLC handles partnership information only to operate the app.

What the app holds

• Your account. Your name, email address, and role in the partnership.
• Partnership records. Documents, email, properties, tasks and notes that the partners put into the app themselves.
• A record of activity. An audit log of changes made in the app, so the partnership can see who did what.

Google account data

Only if you choose to connect your own Google account. Nothing below happens otherwise, and you can disconnect at any time.

• Google Calendar (calendar.events): the events on your primary calendar — their title, description, location, start and end times, attendees and any meeting link — for a window of roughly one week back and two months ahead. The app shows them on your dashboard, and creates, changes or removes an event on your calendar when you ask it to.
• Google Tasks (tasks): the to-dos on your default list — title, notes, due date and whether they are done — shown beside your partnership tasks. The app only ever marks one completed; it never creates, renames, re-dates or deletes a Google task.
• Your Google email address, so the app can show you which account is connected.

Your calendar and to-dos are yours alone. No other partner can see them, including general partners and administrators; this is enforced by the database, not only by the screen.

How it is stored

Data is held in a private database hosted by Supabase in the United States. The token that lets the app reach your Google account is encrypted before it is stored, and is never sent to your browser or to any other partner.

Who else sees it

Information from your Google account is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with other partners. It is handled by these service providers, solely to run the app:

• Supabase — database and sign-in.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic— the built-in assistant. When you ask the assistant about your calendar or to-dos (“what's on today?”), the relevant entries are sent to Anthropic to produce that answer. They are not sent at any other time.

Data from your Google account is notused to develop, train, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, general or otherwise. The app also uses a separate provider to index the partnership's own documents for search; your Google Calendar and Google Tasks data is never sent to it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The Brown Progeny Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Keeping and deleting it

• Calendar and to-do data is kept only while your Google account is connected, and only for the window described above.
• When you disconnect, the app revokes its access at Google, deletes the stored token, and removes the events it had copied from your calendar. Appointments you created in the app yourself are kept, because they are your own.
• You can also remove the app's access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• To have your account and its data deleted entirely, write to info@d20web.com.

Other things worth stating plainly

• The app uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or tracking.
• The app is not directed at children and is not available to them.
• If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date. Material changes affecting Google account data will be told to connected partners directly.
